Discover the wild nature
There are a good number of Argali wild sheep in the Altai Mountains, Mid-Altai and/or Hangai Mountains and the mountainous steppes and semi-desert parts of the South Gobi. These magnificent sheep are the largest trophies in the world. Especially, Altai Argali is referred to as the King of all sheep, having the heaviest horns with the most beautiful shapes. Altai Argali along with the Hangai and Gobi Argali are the main attractions to the magnificent country.
Horns of the Argali have rounded frontal edges which are heavily corrugated, and when fully developed, the horns form more than a complete circle. The longest horns of the record measured 72 3/4 inches (183 cm) in 1973. Bases exceeding 22 inches (55.9 cm) have been recorded. Horns and skull, without the lower jaw, can weigh as much as 75 pounds (34 kg). General color in winter time is light brown tinged with gray. Rump patch, belly, lower legs and face are white. In summer, coat is much shorter and lighter, with upper parts uniformly speckled brown and white, and the rump patch only slightly lighter than the back.
Selecting hunting area is critical to the size of the trophy. Our team works for our clients in obtaining required license and selecting the right area for each hunt. A limited number of licenses for those species are issued each year, thus demand far exceeds the supply.
